I have posted this scarf a few times on Instagram (@missstreetchicblog) simply because I have been so addicted to it since I got it at Parfois in Lisbon in my recent trip to Portugal, and think this mixed prints with blue & ox blood colours are just THE tones to go for this Autumn (any doubt why I chose this Fedora hat as well?). I decided to wear it for the #BloggersTeaPartywith a belt over it, which is another big trend this season #Burberryinspired. I hope you like it. The leaves in the scenario were just the perfect touch to ‘accessorize’ this Autumn look, don’t you agree?
I have recently started going to more blogger’s events and have to say there is nothing better than attending these and meeting people that truly understand an share the same passion. If you are a blogger, I am sure you will agree with me. This time I went to the #BloggersTeaParty event by bloggers Olivia @FjordBeauty & Nadja @ Throw Me Something Beautiful who I had the pleasure to meet at the #BloggersFestival . I have to say I was impressed by their skills at organizing an event like this for the first time. Drink, Shop & Do was such a great find with its delicious cakes (I had the Maltesers one and highly recommend!) and the perfect place to host a blogger’s afternoon tea (that’s everything I needed after a big night out the day before LOL ).
As usual, it was great to see some new faces as well as known ones, and I could not have expected to have gone home spoiled with so many goodies from amazing brands such as Ciaté and can’t wait to try all the products, among them the Sleek Make Up.
Below you can see pictures of the event. I will follow up with an outfit post!
Hey peeps, as you may have seen on Instagram, I got to know the cosmetic brandOriflame at the Blogger’s Festival last month (see the post about the event here). Not only I loved trying their The ONE Dazzling Plum 3-in-1 Triple core lipstick that came in our goodie bags at the event (did you know they were the world’s first to create one of its its kind fusing caring balm, passionate colour and dramatic gloss into one? ), but also felt so privileged to receive this Violet Extreme lipstick from their The ONE collection way before it officially launches on the 17th Octoberwatchthisspace.
I have to say at first I thought it would be a ‘purplish’ lipstick when I first read its name ‘Violet Extreme’. However, it turned out to be a gorgeous pink. I am very impressed by the quality of their products and will certainly buy from them in the future. Both are very creamy and yet they really last.
Hey peeps, I am back to the reality in London, as we can’t only live on a holiday #unfortunately LOL! And I can’t beliece it’s already been a week since we came back! What remain are the good memories, and a bit of tan from a really good trip – recommendations of it in a separate post.
For now, I finally managed to post this outfit , which I wore for an amazing dinner at the NoSoloÁgua, a super chic restaurant over there, which needed a more chic production. It was the perfect ocasion to use my new Matutadress. Matuta is a clothing brand from south of Brazil – I am so proud! – which is sold
across my country and has as a main public the contemporary woman. Its collections always reflect the latest trends, and it would be no different now that they launched their summer 2014 collection
(yes, summer is still to come in Brazil, while we will be freezing over here!). This time around their collection’s main characteristic is the
oh-so-trendy artsy seen around Europe (with exclusive patterns inspired in the paints by local artist Helen Rampinelli) and it’s looking gorgeous!
This dress not only has the artsy touch, but also the colour of the season, blue. was very impressed by its cut, which highlights our best assets, without looking over sexy. It also looks great with a proper tan.
I think the over-sized denim jacket went perfectly with the outfit, giving another trendy touch, the tones on tones.
Thanks Matuta! I loved it! The gladiator sandals are just my lovelies, as you might already know!
