Following so many events in London (London Fashion Week, London Fashion Weekend & the list goes on…), I thought I would gather a few of the London street style pics I’ve taken in the past weeks in general (in addition to the London Fashion Week ones I had already posted here). You must have noticed how passionate I am about the subject, which, specially in London is very unique in a sense that people don’t seem to be afraid on what to wear or to launch new trends. As you can see, there has been loads of neon, bright colours & royal blue around. I hope you like them!
Which of these would you wear? Are you more classic or daring?
As you might have seen on our Twitter, we went to the NME Awards these days (I managed to see Paul McCartney very closely, but he went so quickly I didn’t manage to get a grab of him #nevermind)! As you may know, NME is one of the biggest British music magazines & is also one of the titles the company I work for (IPC Media) produces. Therefore I couldn’t miss attending the awards, don’t you think?? kkkk There were a few celebs like Lily Allen & Artic Monkeys around and was really good fun!
However, when thinking of how to dress for the event, I almost thought it could be an issue (besides, you can only think of gowns & smoking for awards, can’t you?), because NME is more Rock’n Roll than anything else. I had seen this mixed print colour block pencil skirt in-store, and was in love with the black & white leopard print & green details in it, but wasn’t sure on what to wear with it, so that I wouldn’t look too over-dressed. At the end I found this Topshop print Tee went perfectly with the rest, making the Look of the Day seem way more casual (can I also consider it Rock’n Roll? Not too sure about that! ). And since it’s carnival time in Brazil, this Look can well be an inspiration for the festivities in our lovely country (obviously without any tights, otherwise you may boil over there ). In addition, what did you think of the (also) neon green bag? In my opinion it was the final touch to the production! Besides, as you may have seen on this River Island Spring/Summer 2014 Post, the neons seem to have come to stay for the new season.
P.S. Never mind my sleepy face – most of these pics were made early in the morning, before leaving to work!

Did you like this Look of the Day?
By the way, one of the best dressed of the night was Lily Allen, who also had green neon details on its
‘bee’ dress by Roksanda Ilincic (SS14 Ready to Wear Collection).

Hey peeps, I have shown you lots of details of the Fashion Weekhere, but as you might have seen on our Instagram, the Fashion events didn’t stop by then last week (my hubby might actually be wondering if these will ever end, kkkk well, hopefully not) as we also attended the London Fashion Weekend last Saturday. I had not posted any details of the Look of the Day yet, but hadn’t forgotten about you all, so here they are, to hopefully inpire you for the weekend.
I particularly L-O-V-E-D the way the red tones of the crop top combined with the London’s landscape red details (such as the the double-deck bus, the telephone cabin, etc. – you can see I am a foreign person living here that will never get enough of all the touristy bits of this place ). I fell for this midi vinyl skirt as soon as I saw it in Topshop and think my new Aldo perfume bag gave the little extra touch to the production, don’t you think?
